First, I need to say that the counselor that I saw was wonderful, competent and very helpful. I'm sure many if not all the counselors are great at what they do here.
However, I had a constant struggle with the billing department/person. I have an HRA with my insurance, they did not know what that was. I had to explain it to them 3-4 times. They still did not understand and told my counselor that I was not paying them. I had to explain AGAIN that my insurance is covering it. I even took copies of the insurance claims to them for proof AND had my insurance company call them. After I decided not to return, I told them to send me any bill I had because I knew my HRA wouldn't cover the last appointment. The bill that I got, I was again charged for every last appointment! I called my insurance, they called them again for me and told them that I didn't owe them anything except for the last appointment that my HRA did not pay for. They ended up agreeing to send me a new bill reflecting that, saying it was an "error". If you end up going here, please review your insurance claims! I still do not think the billing person knows what they are doing and they thought that I would just go along with whatever price they gave me to scam me out of money. Check with your insurance company before going to make sure they are billing the correct amount and you are paying the correct co-pay!

Though another parent at my child's school recommended this group, I was not happy with my experience. They were not very friendly and were difficult to work with. Even though my son did say he liked his therapist, they acted like more of a friend than a councelor and did not seem very knowledgeable or able to help my son through his problems.
