Despite my telling him I was allergic to NSAIDs he gave me an NSAID saying that this one had no side effects. Two days later I nearly died from anaphylaxis. He and his staff were non-responsive. I asked that he call me but he never did. He was cold, elusive, and arrogant as was his staff at his current Austin TX location. In the prescribing information for the drug he gave me, it clearly warns the doctor to not give it to a patient who has had any allergic reaction of any NSAID. Like so many doctors he has no concept that what he does NOT know is massive compared to what he does know. He refused to take responsibility for his negligence towards me and would not even report my experience to the FDA. No wonder - if he had he would have been admitting his willful negligence in my case, and his complete disregard for my well-being let alone for my life. Then when I wanted to change to another doctor in the practice, he disallowed my switch. CYA is the reason, no doubt.
