As last-minute decision decided two stop by the canefield tavern for a bite to eat not sure what I wanted after my waiter came over I decided I wanted to go with the pot roast beans and cabbage within a few minutes it was out and I tell you what I had to stop in the middle of my eating the pot roast was fall apart perfect it was absolutely delicious be cabbage is this way to cabbage should be.. along with the beans and sausage very pleasant evening at the canefield tavern who's fabulous atmosphere's is great... got to go get back to this fabulous meal while still hot

GREAT FOOD, FRIENDLY SERVICE.

Excellent Saturday/Sunday Brunch. Had Pain Perdu - 4 large pieces of soft French bread cooked perfectly w/powdered sugar and strawberries & blueberries. Wife had Cajun Hash - large plate, lots of sausage, potatoes, sautéed peppers & onions. I also tried Fried Oysters appetizer. Over dozen flash fried oysters in excellent butter BBQ sauce(included 5 pieces of Fr. Bread for dipping). We will definitely be back.
