love the breakfasts servers always seem to have a great attitude and fast nice place to sit and chat

We stopped by on Sunday morning for brunch. The goetta was good and the portions were right. The place was so busy that the service was a little slow but for Hitching Post that's a good thing!

The chicken is coated but not heavily so. The chicken is deep-fried but not really greasy.

Hitching post is one of Cincinnati's best kept secrets; used to go to the one on Ridge many years ago and for whatever reason did not know the restaurant was still in business on Madison Rd. of course I have been missing out; a friend suggested my going there and I am now though a regular customer; it can't be beat for good home cooking, particularly for on the go singles! the potato pancakes are a weekly treat.

Been going to Hitching Post for a few years now. Sunday brunch after Mass means a tasty vegetable omelet, turkey sausage, potato pancakes to die for! Tuesdays is yummy chicken and dumplings!

Hometown Cincinnati Family Comfort Food at its very best! Fried Chicken to die for, amazing crisp little fried potato cakes, fried corn on the cob (who knew that could be so heavenly). Their pies are so good we now order them for our holiday meals and gatherings. Great food and service.
