Aveda name changing

I have been a long time resident of Denver and unfortunately my stylist moved away. So, a friend recommended Vida salon to me, but warned me of the pretentious nature of its stylists. She advised not to go to Bradley, Vinny or Emily because they always seemed to have personal issues interfering. So, I went to Emma being she was available and I figure was safe. Wrong. Lets start with the cut. I realize the younger kids want funky but I asked for a modest normal cut, and got something opposite. I'm not sure if it was an attempt at style or just a lack of talent, but it wasn't what I wanted. Then, the color. Again, I'm not sure if it was an attempt at style being she is pushing the frumpy cute level herself, but I did not get a color that was right. Blond is blond, not goldish...the whole thing was a disaster. Maybe she is new and learning but I think the prices didn't reflect that and someone should have told me I was a guinea pig. The funny thing is, I also overheard Emily discussing her hangover from the night before, with one of the other stylists, which I find extremely tacky and unprofessional. Anyhow, I will not be retuning to Vida.

a great cut with a massage

You have to love the scalp and neck massage that comes with the haircut. Very relaxing. There are usually several men in the salon as customers so you don't feel awkward as a male as you do at some salons.
