St Francis Community is a non-profit residential center for both men and women, and is located at Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The center is mainly for clients in early recovery for drug and alcohol addiction. The duration of the treatment programs varies, but generally it lasts for a minimum of four months. St. Francis provides the 12-stage recovery process prescribed in Alcoholics Anonymous. The peer group prevention oriented sessions are scheduled for four evenings every week. Clients are welcome to participate in the programs from 6 to 12 months. The amenities available include mostly rooms on a sharing basis, and a chapel within the boundaries of St Francis Community.
