Provided by YP.comThis blood bank used chimps for decades doing research on them. Those that survived were abandoned on islands in Liberia without food or water. Animals rights organizations had to step in to keep them from starving and dehydrating to their death. This is an abomination that the New York Blood Center could use them and then discard them like a piece of garbage. I you plan on donating blood, seek out another location to do so. NYBC has no ethics and should not be in business. Shameful what they have done.
