The staff does a great job caring for the animals. It is always clean when I go in there, and my dogs LOVE it.

We began taking our rescue dog Elsa to doggy daycare at Eastpoint in January. She has loved it from the beginning. We ask her each time she goes, "do you want to go play with your friends" and she begins wagging her tail and standing by her leash. When we arrive, the staff greets her by name and she immediately goes to them and gives kisses. When we pick her up, the staff tells us about her day, how sweet she is and how she interacts with other dogs. She is exhausted from a long day of play when she comes home. We have had nothing but a positive experience at Eastpoint.

Highly Recommend Doggie Daycare!

We started taking our shepherd mix puppy Mocha to Eastpoint Pet Resort in February and she will keep going. She loves the companionship with the other dogs and the staff is very caring.

I have taken my Toby to Eastpoint Pet Resort since he was a puppy for day care facilities. His first experience, he was put into the room with all the other dogs and he immediately cowered in the corner as all the other dogs were trying to sniff him. The staff immediately intervened and gradually integrated Toby into the room with the other dogs. This became his daily ritual and something he looked forward to every single work day. He eventually became a staff favorite and could always be found sitting at the gate behind the front desk with the staff instead of going into a crate all day (my Toby is a very quiet boy which helps him remain out front where is doesn't become disruptive. We have even boarded Toby while we took vacations and the staff never seemed to mind my call to check on him. June, 2013, my husband accepted a job in Indianapolis so we moved. We have since adopted another Wheaten Terrier named Tucker. After we moved, I still travel to Louisville at least once a month and I always know I can take Toby with me and he looks forward to seeing his friends. The new puppy has also been 3 times now. I can always count on the fact that he will be exhausted. I can also say that I believe the staff at Eastpoint Pet Resort have made my sweet Toby the excellent dog that he has become. He has learned to socialize with other animals and knows how to deal with people and is an all-around better dog as a result of the caring staff at Eastpoint Pet Resort. I would HIGHLY recommend them. Remember, they're a pet resort, not a vet but it's also good to know that a vet is next door in the event of an emergency but I have never had a need to worry about it in all the years of experience I've had with them. Thank you to all the staff at Eastpoint for loving my Toby and my little Tucker. They look forward to their next visit.

I would highly recommend the Eastpoint Pet Resort location. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted by a friendly face. The facility was clean and neat. My dog was boarded in the Deluxe Suites which includes a pet bed, tv and extra walks. He seems very willing to go to his room with a view. I was very happy with my experience here and will definitely recommend them to all of my friends.

My experience with Eastpoint Pet Resort

I would not recommend Eastpoint Pet Resort to any pet owner, whether it be for a vacation or even a weekend getaway. When I first arrived to drop off my dog, the employees acted like they knew more about my dog than I did. I own an American boxer, she is about a year old now. I had her ears cropped last December, the ears were completely healed but we were still having problems with them, so the vet was still in the process of reframing weekly. I was initially told it was ok for her to come with the frame taped, this was in July,2010 when I made the reservation, When I arrived I was given some what of a run around that she couldn't stay there. After telling them, the ear cropping itself had been done months ago and her ears were healed, they allowed her to stay. I had the feeling they knew little about ear cropping, or maybe they were against it, I'm not sure. I paid for the suite with the tv and cot, and was told my dog would be moved to the front room the next day when another dog would be discharged ( the front is where she could see through the glass the comings and goings of the day) I was assured she would be ok, so I left for vacation. The first couple days I called, they said she was ok. On the third day, they said the frame had come loose, and was barely attached to her ears, they had re-taped to keep it on. I have had her ears reframed by a skilled vet on several occasions and even as rambunctious as she is, there has never been a time the frame came off. They told me this was due to her being confined. I keep her confined in her crate when I work, and never had this problem. When I came back from vacation and picked her up, the whole frame was removed, they threw away the frame , rollers and all. The guy at the front desk, informed me the items used to frame were very dangerous...almost like he didn't approve of it. Her rabies tag had dissapeared from her collar, They said it had probably come loose and was in the drain, that they would look for it. They never found it. She came home without some of the new toys I had bought her while I was away. When they went to get her, she was not in the front section, her suite was in the rear, after they had assured me she would be moved. In my opinion, they were not a caring group of employees, and this is a resort sponsored by the KHS? I have adopted from KHS, and never had any complaints with the adoption facility. The boarding experience was not a good one for this owner or her dog. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
