When I was a child I used to pass a shoemaker while going to Alexander Mitchell School. I always paused because I could hear him playing the violin!

Cobbler does'nt play the violin but still appreciate his talent.

excellent service

You can feel the respect this cobbler has for your shoes and his own work. He will do everything he can to keep your shoes in good condition for years, yet will discourage you from having unnecessary (or at least not-yet-needed) work.

Love the service

Love the "old-fashioned" service you rarely see anymore. Always a pleasant greeting when you enter, always a "thank you" for your business when you leave.

Good quality for the price

This place is great. I take all of my shoes and boots for repairs and polishing. Excellent service and the prices are low.

Everyone should know about this place!

My parents and I have been going to the Cobbler Shoe Service for many years. It's a very nice family owned and operated business and I can't say enough about the people, quality of workmanship, turn around time, and prices. It's a 30 minute drive for me but I wouldn't go anywhere else. If these people ever retire I'll be lost. They have worked miracles with many favorite pairs of shoes and boots. They even came up with a clever way to stretch a leather hat that was too tight.
