I got dropped off at Spring Gully with a few buddies and we couldn't believe how jungle like this excursion was. We paddled a couple hours through the bayou and saw all sorts of critters from exotic looking water birds to alligator gar! We saw a huge gator sunning himself smiling at us. Turtles plopped in the water if we got too close. I used to travel over 40 miles to Brazos Bend to see nature like this. Be sure to wear sunscreen and bring water. When we made it back to the open water it was choppy so we called them and they picked us up. They go above and beyond with their service. I'll be back.

The stars aligned! I got to take my doggie date kayaking and we at at Boondoggles afterwards! Both places are great for a dog or a date!

I could not believe how cool the Spring Gully trip was! These people have heart! They were passionate about the bayou and referred me to help preserve it by going to Armand Bayou Nature Center and getting a membership. I will definitely go back!
