Working with Catherine has been a complete nightmare! We purchased a new home and were scheduled to close today but cannot due to her incompetence. We provided her all of our documentation in August of 2012 and we are still waiting for underwriting to finalize the loan because she sent all the paperwork last minute. She does not answer phone calls or emails. I have to follow up time after time just to confirm she got the information she requested. Don't let DHI tease you with closing cost credit. The 5k credit is not nearly enough to cover the stress she has caused us. The above posted could not be more correct- Stay away from this slacker!

Catherine is the most incompetent person I have ever dealt with, I am disgusted with the fact that she still has a job in this industry! She does not care about taking care of paperwork after it has been sent to her, a month and a half later, she claims she still doesn't have paperwork that is time stamped on e mails. Catherine does not respond to e mails nor phone calls, when she says she will call you back it is a lie, she lies about e mailing you back bottom line I would NEVER EVER recommend DHI mortgage, we are trying to close on a brand new house that should be a simple standard process, this has been a complete nightmare using this company, I'd advise you to go somewhere else!
