Provided by YP.comI have been going here for early stage glaucoma in my left eye.
I noticed blurred vision, near my nose. and called for an earlier appointment than mine in Feb. I was told absolutely no way by the receptionist. When I persisted she transferred me to a nurse who claimed she could diagnose me over the phone. My problem was “dry eye” caused by my Glaucoma drops. I was told to use lubricating drops for 2 weeks before I would see improvement After 2 weeks My vision worsened and 90 % of my vision was now blurry. When I called I was seen immediately, and the pressure in that eye was 44! I am now on 4 different meds to try to reduce the pressure, but the doctor can’t promise me the my vision will improve. I’m kicking Myself, I should’ve fought back but they seemed so sure of themselves and I believed them. Nurses should not be given the power to “ treat” patients just to screen unnecessary calls to the doctor, My vision is necessary!

Provided by YP.comI have had excellent experiences at LVCFS. I had one cataract removed by Dr. Moran and am about to have the second one removed. Dr. Moran is a wonderful Doctor who I would recommend highly. I guess it's all in whom you see

Provided by YP.comDON'T GO THERE!!!! My mother went to this practice, and saw both doctors in the practice at different times. She waited interminably long for her scheduled appointment EACH AND EVERY TIME she had one. The patient's time is just as important as theirs. Issues can arise, but then it is the staff's responsibility to offer the waiting patients to reschedule for another time. That NEVER happened. She was diagnosed with Macular Degeneration some time ago. Lately she's been having issues being able to see what she previously had no issue with. She made an appt, and was told not to worry, all's well. The sight issues persisted, and at my insistence she asked our family doctor for advice on whom to see. He directed her to another practitioner, and on her FIRST APPOINTMENT was told that the Rx on her lenses was not the correct one for her. Strike one. She was further warned that there apparently had been an issue within the back of both her eyes for quite some time. She was advised to obtain an appointment with a retina specialist ASAP, DO NOT WAIT. She was fortunate enough to get an appt the very next morning. She was advised that there was excessive bleeding behind both eyes that would require laser surgery ASAP to avoid permanent damage. Strikes 2 and 3. No more visits to LV Center for Sight, EVER. If it was indicated to the first doc and also the specialist that this issue has been going on for some time, why was such a dire situation missed by LV Center for Sight???? Her last appt with them was a mere 2 weeks before the one where the bleeding was discovered. I am appalled, and so very thankful that my mother's sight has been spared. I will NEVER advise anyone to go to the above group, and further if I hear of anyone going there, I will absolutely warn them by disclosiing my mother's experience. This is the worst treatment my mother has ever received by any doctor she's seen. One's sight is a precious comodity, and thank goodness I was so adamant about seeing another doctor. Please be cautious should you decide to see these docs, or continue seeing them if you already do. CAUTION!!!
