I was assigned the emotionally difficult task of purchasing a casket spray for my grandmother. Since she passed on a weekend, we were worried we would not have enough time to get her flowers for Monday. I tried ordering from an online flower vendor Sunday evening, but there were very few arrangements within our price range and when I finally found one that appeared to be sufficient, the site kicked it back, stating the arrangement was "unavailable". So Monday morning, I googled florists in my area, and once I'd sifted through all the "outlets" for the online flower vendor I'd frustratingly worked with the night before, I found Butterfly and Roses. I called Pat, gave her my budget and she had a BEAUTIFUL arrangement and pallbearer carnations ready by 1:00. The limited time she had was not even a factor. The flowers were bright and fresh and the arrangement itself was larger than I expected. Pat did a wonderful job creating something really special to honor my grandmother. She even gave me a hug when I broke down crying and carried the arrangement to my car. There is certainly something to be said for face to face business, and I will definitely be returning to Butterfly and Roses for my future floral purchases.
