I have been using this laundry facility off and on for almost 10 years. I have always brought my service animal with me and have never had a problem until today. When I walked in I was told that she could was not welcome there after today and she could not accompany me. We were walking in the door when he said this and she had done nothing to misbehave. I asked him if he realized he was being discriminatory and she was legally allowed to be there and he once again said that she was not allowed in and she could wait in the front of the business outside the door. I told him he was legally violating my rights and she was clearly identified as a service animal in he was violating the American with Disabilities Act. I then asked to speak to the manager or owner and he stated it was his business and he did not want her there. There is no excuse that any public business is allowed to discriminate against people with disabilities.
