Front desk people are rude and do not listen to your questions, replying with generic answers. I would never visit or recommend this business. People only use because their employer sends them here. Little to no customer service.

I have gone to south shore health center 2 times before, the first time I had an appointment that I had made a week ahead of time gotten there five minutes early and still had to wait 45 minutes before I was actually seen which was annoying because my ride was stuck there waiting for me. Besides that Dr. Godfrey was very helpful and nice so I decided to go back. The second time I had an appointment for a physical with Dr. Robert Baratz but instead I was seen by a woman who never bothered introducing herself and was incredibly rude. She was highly critical of the fact that I am unemployed and was berading me with questions of what I do all day, what time I wake up and even accusing me of being a "party girl" when I don't even drink. Then she was trying to convince me to have a pap test which I have never had and was hoping to do with my sister because I am nervous and even after I told her I was uncomfortable she kept insisting she would do it anyway saying it was ridiculous that I was nervous because she had performed the test on girls as young as 7 and the whole time she was giving me dirty looks and had a critical tone in her voice. All I wanted was a physical and to ask a few questions about a cold I was having but the whole time she would not stop talking about my personal life asking me why I wasn't in school and even asked me how many times a week my boyfriend and I have intercourse! It was one of the most uncomfortable and unsettling experiences I have ever had let alone at a doctors appointment and I wish she'd given me her name so I could file a formal complaint. I wouldn't suggest going there but if you do have an appointment ask for Dr. Godfrey- she was sweet and understanding unlike her insane coworker.
