Jennifer G. Davila, MD, is Co-Director, Hemophilia Treatment Center at Montefiore, Attending Physician at Children?s Hospital at Montefiore and Assistant Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She has been a member of the Montefiore team since 2014. Her clinical focus is on the diagnosis and management of children with thrombosis, hemophilia and rare bleeding disorders. Dr. Davila received her Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from State University of New York at Binghamton in 2000. Following this, she attended Ross University School of Medicine from 2003 to 2007 where she received her Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Davila completed an internship and residency in Pediatrics at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. She then completed a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center/Weill Cornell Medical College in New York. Dr. Davila?s primary academic research interests include quality improvement efforts to improve thrombosis risk assessment in the pediatric population, specifically elucidating the thrombosis risk in patients with sickle cell disease. Her work has been published in various manuscripts, reviews, book chapters and abstracts. She has been invited to regional and institutional presentations. Dr. Davila is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and General Pediatrics.
