Provided by YP.comMy experience with Kentucky Clutch was all but pleasant. I sent my pressure plate and throw-out bearing to be "rebuilt". This is for a 1979 John Deere 2040. What I received back looked to have been "buffed" with a 4" hand grinder and a flap wheel. I did get a new bearing for the throw-out bearing and a pilot bearing. The problem I had with the pressure plate was the diaphragm spring. It was "annealed" from heat over the years. I did not get a new spring, so I have no better clutch pedal than before the "rebuild". I made it thru another hay season, barely, and contacted KY clutch. I explained my problem, they said they have no new diaphragm springs for the pressure plate. So if they don't have parts to do a rebuild, why are they in the rebuild business????? They offered no restitution, basically just a "KMA". I have purchased a new after market pressure plate, so now break the tractor in half again, and install.

Provided by YP.comDo not put these clutches behind a diesel they do not stand up and they will no warranty their product less than 5,000 on a total rebuild and it failed. Should have listened to my diesel mechanics.
