South Bay Truck Center or Also Known as Freightliner Used Trucks Center in Carson.

Purchased a 2009 Used Peterbuilt. The truck had been involved previously on a bad wreck. The bellhousing on trasmission and engine were cracked and motor mounts loose. They performed a DOT inspection in house which of course passed. I purchased the truck based on their good inspection report. Then 3 weeks later we found the damages on truck and took it to their own service department. They inspected the truck and provide me with an estimate to repair the items will cost me $5,884.08 to repair. The service managers advise was that the truck is unsafe to drive per their own service manager. The truck had to be towed out of their. Of course they did not want to pay for the damages. I try to complaint with the Sales Manager and of course never return one single of my several ongoing calls and manages. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO MAKE ANY PURCHASES FROM THIS OUTFIT. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. THEY DID THE INSPECTIONS AND THEY WERE AWARE OF THE PROBLEMS AND THEY STILL WENT AHEAD AND SOLD ME THIS UNSAFE VEHICLE.
