The Service from the Manager Tim was outstanding. He didn't try to over sale me like i was prepared for . He told me just what i needed and thats it . The mechanics were fast and courteous...I would go back and send my daughter are wife alone because I can trust the Manager Tim not to sale them something they don't need...Definitely 5 stars

No better place to go to! Lamar Nelson, I couldn't describe a better word than commendable at his work, profession, and heart. He took the time to listen to my needs in a way most people wouldn't. The crew is very good and professional as well. My guess is the great management under this company. It's one thing to do your job, but doing it with empathy and caring about the customers experience is like I said COMMENDABLE. Go Lamar and your well run crew. I'll always remember my good experience and won't be taking my cars anywhere else.

I wouldn't even give them 1 star, but that is not an option. I had all new rotors and brakes replaced by them. Shortly after my brakes were already squeaking. I went back to the west Ashley location( for them to forget about my car all day) I finally had to call them only for them to say no one had even looked at it. They called back and told me my brakes were fine something else was wrong. A few months later I knew something was still wrong so I decided to take it to the mount pleasant location. They also made me sound like an idiot and told me my brakes were fine. After this I was done with them and took my service elsewhere. 2 of my rotors were indeed bad. The mechanic I went to said brakes 4 less is horrible and they always have people coming in with problems from there. Don't waste your money or time on these people. They will make more problems than what you started with.

I give 0 stars. I was there an hour and a half before they took the car in and then they were very very slow working on our brakes. We were there 5 hours and when I got home I noticed that one of our wheel covers was missing because they had not installed it back on good enough but when I called them back they didn't seem to care. I would not recommend this location to anyone! I am going to tell everyone I know to stay away from Brakes 4 Less !!!

I would give 0 stars if I could. I went there to get new brakes on my car, just to end up having the wrong brakes on my car.

I went in this morning to have my oil changed and my brakes fixed. New rotors and pads amongst other things for about $300.00. I had my car back in a few hours. The manager was there, and he called me to inform me what the problem was and to give me an estimate. When I picked up my car, he showed me my old rotors and pointed out the defects. I'll be back again.

Here's a shocker: I actually ENJOY going to Brakes 4 Less to get my car taken care of. I can joke with them, Ricky has a great since of humor, and the bill is always minimal. They have a great customer service which is something you don't see much of these days.

Full disclosure: I am a teacher (read: tiny budget) and almost no knowledge of how my car works (something about gas and an internal combustion engine.) I never get anything fixed unless a light comes on or I hear a loud, unpleasant noise. So when I walked into Brakes 4 Less, I was filled with trepidation. Would I be ripped off AGAIN? Would I have to dissolve my 401K to pay for new brakes? However, they were AWESOME!! They gave me exactly what I needed at a price that was well below what I had expected to pay. Even better, the mechanic who worked on my car steered me away from what I thought I needed (new EVERYTHING) and explained why he recommended just a new set of brakes instead of replacing pretty much everything under the car. I will definitely be back, and I will refer all of my friends.

I used this website and others to check reviews for a brake place. Being new in town, I didn't want to walk into somewhere blind and get totally ripped off...



Anyway...brought my car in at my scheduled time. They started on my car right away. Before any work started, I was told exactly what the issue was, and the cost it would be to finish it. It was less than $300 for quite a bit of work including the rotors, hardware, fluids, etc.



Within a couple hours my car was done, and the cost was just as promised. And to top it all off - the shaking in my brakes was GONE! :)

I was more than happy with my experience here. The gentlemen who worked here were courteous and efficient, and the prices were fantastic. I'll most certainly (and gladly) be back. I don't think I'll ever go back to the dealership for brake repairs again.
