Great Endodontist!! I had a great experience with both the staff and the doctor!! Highly Recommend!

Called to get an appointment, was in a LOT of pain and my regular DDS stated I needed a root canal.

Woman calls back a few days later, tells me they can get me in for a "consult". But she can't get me in for 2 weeks. Will get me in if there is a cancellation.

She called the next day. I couldn't make it. We did "discuss" my consult. I assured her any other day was good.



She called. They can fit me in Monday, but they need $80 from me. "Don't you file with my insurance?" "Yes we do but"



I called MetLife to make sure this "consult" was covered, mentioned that Dr Loftis wanted $80 from me PLUS what they were paying. "What? What for? For a consult?" I'm a retired RN and I can't answer WHY they want $80+ the amount from MetLife.

The Rep figures out my Deductible: "No, for a Consult & Plan of Care, we allow $85, you should only be paying $7 Have them call us".

$80 to talk to any medical professional on my plans is a Scam. The Rep suggested a different DDS, He's RIGHT!

Dr. Loftis is an excellent endodontist. I had no pain with the procedure and he answered all my questions. He has a nice office and a great staff. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and relatives.

I would not recommend this endodontic dentist to anyone. I had a horrible experience with this office. First, I was quoted an amount of $80.00 for an evaluation which ended up going to over $200.00. I had the very same evaluation done by two other dentists for $80.00 and the others were much less painful. Second, Mr. Loftis did not listen to what I was saying about my problem and did not answer my questions. He was very arrogant and acted like I had no right to ask questions about what he would be doing if I agreed to let him do my root canal. Third, he refused to give me copies of my x-rays that I had paid for. In the end I left his office in much more pain than I arrived with.

I would not suggest this "Doctor" to ANYONE. His staff is extremely rude, the doctor is extremely rude. They stated that they tried to verify my check and it would not (funny since it was AFTER business hours!). It actually DID because I contacted my bank directly. The doctor openly said in my face "I guess I am working for free today!". No sir, you are not. I have great insurance that paid you 90% and I paid the other 10%, which they DID get. My bank confirmed that. I called the next day after speaking with my bank (and them telling me it should never have been unauthorized) to ask for an apology and was told extremely rudely by the secretary "NO! YOU should give ME an apology for writing a bad check!". Funny when there was not a bad check.



All of this was in the LOBBY of his office, with other patients. I was bullied, talked down to, and treated horribly in front of other people. I was essentially bullied by these "professionals" when there was no mistake on my end. I was told that they did me a FAVOR by doing dental work for me. This is their job, not a favor. You got paid for it.



Oh and to top it off I was told by the secretary that I should not see the one Endodontist I was originally scheduled with because he isnt a specialist and that I should see them since they are. Of course, I find out today that he IS a specialist, and a very good one at that. My tooth is now messed up and I have to go see my regular DDS in order to see what our next steps are to fix the tooth that he shaved down to nothing.



STAY AWAY FROM THIS RUDE "DOCTOR" AND HIS "PRACTICE"!
