I would not recommend this place to my dog. I got food poisoning as a result of eating a grilled chicken salad. Went to urgent care and was told by Applebees insurance company that they were not liable for any damages because there was not stool sample taken. Word to the wise don't eat there and get sick because they could care less. #chillis 4ever!!!!

I just left the Applebee's @ 8700 J.W.Clay Blvd. in Charlotte, NC and I was so disappointed in my foos and the service I received. The manager came by earlier during our meal and we told him that we had had better service and food. We told him we came there for a Blondie (dessert) but the waitress never asked us if we wanted dessert. We told her we wanted dessert so she brought it out to us and can you believe it was burnt??? It smelled so bad, the couple sitting behind us looked around to see what was burning. Can you believe anyone burning a dessert with ice cream on it?



I have never had such poor service and food. We showed the manager our burnt dessert and he again apologized. Another couple with 2 children sitting behind us also complained about their food. The manager took the ticket of the family who complained and apologized to them. He took our dessert off our ticket and apologized.

I took my mother, wife and daughter to your restaurant on Saturday which was the day before Mothers Day. We were seated at a table and asked for our drink orders. Once the waiter left it had become apparent to us that we had virtually no room between us and the tables on either end. We could not move our chairs back without hitting the chairs behind us.



We talked about going somewhere else but my mother, who is soon to be 89, did not want to go through the hassle. No sooner had she spoken and she was hit on the side of her head by what appeared to be a 2 year old being held by her mother.



As we were leaving it became apparent to me that you had at least one too many tables and possibly two given the space. I know our experience was not good given how uncomfortable the seating was.



Once in the restaurant we turned to our left and were directed up two or three steps. We were seated on the row closest to the bar next to last table before you hit the handicap ramp.
