The nursery workers told me not to play with the babies because they were "daycare kids" and should not be spoiled. I was chastised for rocking a crying baby, singing another to sleep in his crib, and even getting down on the floor to play with them. Of the three other women in the room, two talked the whole time without paying a lick of attention to the babies, and the other woman spent her time correcting me for paying them attention. If a baby was put into a swing, they wouldn't move him/her for hours sometimes. I worked there for three weeks and saw the same thing every day, so I know this is the norm. When I tried to bring attention to this horrible reality to the assistant director (Nancy, I believe?), she scolded me for causing trouble. Needless to say, I got out quickly. I would NEVER put my child in this nursery, EVER. Please don't let your kids go through this business-run neglect; they deserve every act of love they can get.
