We went for dinner with my family. 9 altogether last night. We arrived at 6PM. At 7 everyone but my husband was almost done eating. My husband asked about his food many times. They brought it when we were about to pay the check around 7PM or a little later. My family was very upset my husband didn't want it any more and my husband was very upset that he was not able to eat with the family. He eats slower than any one so we would have been there for a long time. The waitress said the kitchen was very busy. My husband told the manager that he didn't want to come back.Tthe manager said fine.. My husband ended up going to Wendy's for a quick dinner. Our friends that we spent the rest of the night with said they were not that happy with Sushi 101 either. I am sad because I have enjoyed it in the past and it ruined a special dinner with my family.

The food is ok but that is not the problem with this restaurant. The problem is the wait staff, the rude skinny hostess and the female bartender that would not allow us to sit in her section so she can sit around and watch TV. Our family pays good money to eat there and we were quite embarrassed when we were asked to get up from our seats to sit somewhere else. We were told the couch had reservations. It's funny because no one sat there the whole time we ate our meal. Not only did they make us get up but we were LIED to ! We have always tipped very well and even came to know some of the wait staff whom are no longer there. (wonder why?) In these times especially businesses need to appreciate their customers to ensure they don't fail. I will recommend no one eat there. As I wrote earler the food is OK, but the customer service, well there is none.
