DO NOT take your vehicle to Rey for repairs. I took my Honda to him when it was blowing white smoke from the hood. He asked me if it had been running hot, I told him I did not think so. After keeping it for 2 days, he told me I needed a new radiator and T Stat. I paid him $564 and two days later my engine was blowing white smoke again. I had it towed back to him on a Sunday. Monday 4pm Rey told me he wanted to keep it one more day bc “This time (he said) I want to put it up on the rack and see if it is the engine”…. What???? He did not put it on the rack the first time!!! Turns out it was the engine and it needed to be replaced. Rey was given every opportunity to correct his misdiagnosis by putting in a new engine, that I was willing to pay for, I only asked that he did not charge me labor. Rey chose instead to sit on my car for an additional week and do nothing. I had my car towed to another shop who installed a new engine. I was without my car for over a month, out $564 and cost 2 tows against my AAA card due to Rey’s misdiagnosis. Rey’s only defense was to blame me, a 58 year old woman for his mistake by telling me I told him it was running hot and leaking radiator fluid. Lies. I never saw any radiator fluid leaking nor did I tell him it was running hot. He is the mechanic, He should be able to give me a proper diagnosis. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO REY. Vicci Botich
