Provided by YPmobileI came in with an idea of what I wanted. James Clark helped me settle my decision between used and new. It was definitely a no pressure sale . I traded up from a Corolla I bought last year. I felt like I was going into the deal upside down but, James Clark and the rest of the staff worked the numbers and got me in my price range where I felt like I won. This is my third purchase from this dealership and I continually recommend them.

Provided by YP.comDuring the week of Sep 9 2013, my mother decided to buy a new car, but wanted to be financed through her bank. The bank prepared everything and told her to call when she saw the car she wanted. Unfortunately, she chose Rick Hendrick's. They acknowledged receiving a call from her bank & proceeded with a flurry of paperwork; yet we assumed it was still being financed by her bank...wrong. We had to go through everything again when the bank called, wanting to know what happened (the bank said we were flipped). On top of that, the old tags were put on the Scion, which we turned in ourselves when the new arrived. Apparently they messed up in the paperwork w/the old car, cos we keep getting tax notices about it, even tho I wrote to Charlotte explaining she doesn't own it anymore. The people at Ricks are all nice, polite, smiles, but they did us dirty.

Provided by YP.comBUYER BEWARE! MILITARY BEWARE! This dealership exudes the typical ‘used car salesman’ vibe. We attempted to purchase a vehicle from another state. That was a huge mistake. We were assured the vehicle was in ‘like new’ condition from four different Rick Hendrick employees (three personnel in the internet sales department and one used car salesman). However, when I arrived at the dealership to pick it up, it was filthy, stained, and scratched. These were not items that could have been easily overlooked. They lied about the condition of the vehicle. They barely even ran the vehicle through a subpar carwash. The used car salesman said that they don’t detail the used cars because it would cost them $400. They obviously need to do some shopping around, because I only pay $125 for a car detail! On top of all this, they tried to use several high pressure tactics, such as, ‘someone else is at the dealership trying to purchase the vehicle right now.’ Also, when I first arrived at the dealership, they did everything they could to get me to sign all the paperwork and drive off the lot with the vehicle before getting a really good look. Once my wife and I decide we were not going to deal with liars and cheaters, they abandoned me. I had to find my own ride back to the airport ($100) and had to sleep overnight in a USO. They put on a good front, but these guys DO NOT support the military. The GSM even had the nerve to tell my wife that we had ‘culpability’ in the situation because we would not agree to their crappy excuse for a solution. He then proceeded to demean me to my wife. We are out the plane tickets and shuttle ride; However, I would much rather that than give any money to them. Check out their rating at the BBB too!! You will see we are not the only ones with this problem!!

Provided by YP.comMy Husband and I went to Rick Hendrick Toyota to buy a new Solara. We found a used one in good condition here. But, they refused to work with us on price. They acted as if coming down $1000 on the price was a good deal. I found the cars value to be $2700 less than what they wanted to charge me! That's a RIP OFF! We drove to Raleigh where there IS competition with Toyota Lots & I got a 1 year old Solara for only $1800 MORE than what Rick Hendrick wanted to charge us for the same model of a 4 year old Solara! Rick Hendrick WILL RIP YOU OFF!! They think they can charge you anything because they're the ONLY Toyota lot around. Drive to Raleigh & go where competition drives PRICE.
