Established in 1982, Archways is a nonprofit, privately-owned organization providing a variety of services in behavioral health care to individuals and families. Adults with severe and persistent mental illness and mental illness combined with substance abuse are treated in a clubhouse milieu with medication management, case management, psychosocial rehabilitation and individual therapy. It also provides housing, residential services at several levels and supported employment services. Archways also offers substance abuse and violence prevention programs in collaboration with other organizations around the country. It is located in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
