The Brothers at Mission Auto a...

The Brothers at Mission Auto are fair, accountable and responsible. I approached them with multiple projects, and they helped troubleshoot what would work in my price range. These guys really know vehicles, and it shows in the consistant flow of regulars. They saved me time and money, and helped to educate me. I call them first for any vehicle im working on, and recommend them to all my co workers. This local family is in the business of solving problems.

Thanks for the help

i went to A&G with very little mechanical knowledge and a desperate need to get my truck fixed in a hurry... the owner helped me quickly find the correct parts and even gave me advice (bout a half hour of his time) on how to install them and fix it myself. Which ended up saving me even more money on labor. Just saw the above post and thought i would let everyone know that i had a great experience at A&G and have gone back many times since! I also have one of my receipts here and at the bottom in bold lettering it says that parts are returnable for exchange only no refunds! Pretty straight forward stuff. Thanks again A&G

look somewhere else

The owner sold me a dash knob for my Camry. I brought the broken part with me and gave it to him to ensure he was giving me the right replacement. I also told him the year model of the car. He dissappeared into the yard and emerged with what appeared to be the correct replacement. Since I didn't have the car with me I asked if I could return the part if it didn't fit. He said yes. After arriving home I discovered that the part did not fit. It had a keyway that was 180 degrees out of phase and the pointer was pointing in the opposite direction it should have. I took the part back to the junk yard, expecting to be able to return it for a refund. The owner said I could return it, not get a refund! What ? Now I have a part that doesn't fit, a junkyard owner that doesn't have the correct part and he'll allow me to return it but not give me a refund. Well, if I can't return it for a refund, what do I get if I return it? Presumably nothing.

Stay away from this guy. Dishonest. I purchased a simple dash knob from this guy. I took in the original to ensure that I got the correct part. I told the owner what model and year my car was. He took it from me, went into the yard and came back with what appeared to be the correct part. I looked at it carefully and it appeared to be OK. But just in case, I asked if I could return the part if it didn't fit. (Didn't have the car with me) He said yes. Got home. Tried it. It didn't fit. The keyway was 180 degrees out of phase and the knob was pointing backwards. I went to the Toyota dealer and bought a new knob. Subsequently, I tried to return the knob to A and G for a refund. They refused stating that " You asked if you could return it, not if you could get a refund!" He then asked if I had two eyes to see that the part was incorrect. I told him that I gave HIM the original, HE went into the yard and came back with the wrong part. What about his eyes? No reply. No refund.
