I love this bar!!!! everyone is so friendly drinks are cheap and the owner is amazing.

Smoking bars are hard enough to find these days, and YellowPages.com screwed up the map for The Grandview Corner Bar. DO NOT use the map they provide--not if it shows The Grandview Corner Bar to be in Belton. The Grandview Corner Bar is on Main Street in GRANDVIEW, nine blocks WEST of US 71. (That's the Taco Bell / Waffle House side of the highway.) They used the wrong zip code when they created the link to Google Maps, so they direct you miles away to the wrong town. If you need directions, the bartender will talk you in. Go ahead NOW, and put this number in your phone: 816-761-9055.



Four good restaurants are within one block of The Corner, and you can always get snacks at the bar, good stuff like popcorn or pizza. If you call for directions and the bartender says he skipped lunch...you can be instantly popular when you get there. Taco Bell is the closest fast food, and you'll go right past it anyway...



It must be a closely guarded secret if there is a better neighborhood bar anywhere in this country. The Corner is a watering hole, yes, but a good place for coffee too. Recently remodelled, it is cozy without being cramped. Smoking IS allowed, cigarettes are on sale and a huge air cleaner keeps the air fresh.



The Corner has no snobs, no cliques, no strife, and plenty of whatever you like: Bands, jukebox, dancing, karaoke, big screen TV, e-games of all kinds, bowling, darts and a straight pool table. Texas Hold'em is on Monday and Wednesday nights, and a hand of rummy can be anytime. Any night can be whopper night. Most regular customers are plain-spoken, but a few have great imaginations and are master story-tellers.



Remember, the Grandview Corner Bar is not in Belton. It's at 7th and Main, in GRANDVIEW.
