2 horrible Valentine's Day Experiences in a row with SICOLA'S FLORIST and 1-800-FLOWERS! In 2012 and 2013, I requested a week and a half ahead of time a delivery of roses to my fiancee who lives and works within a mile of the flower shop. Associates assured me that the delivery would be made on February 14th and both years I found myself on the phone with them at nearly 8 o'clock at night trying to get a definite answer on the whereabouts of my purchase. To no avail. The following morning, I received, both years, an email explaining that the delivery attempt failed due to lack of information. Included in the delivery information was my phone number, email address, full address of the delivery location, full name of the business in which the delivery was to be made to, special instructions and contact phone number of the recipient. i.e. my fiancee. Very, Very Disappointing! First year, I thought...give em' another shot. My thoughts now...stop taking orders that you can't fill!
