Honestly they're not even worth one star. I feel as a business owner your customer service leads your reputation and these people are the rudest people I've ever dealt with. Our family's house was broken into and we lost some valuable coins along with the invoices. I asked the business for copies of the invoices and could obviously provide proof of purchase by stating to them the credit card used to but the coins but they refused. They said it would be too much work to look for the invoice. I also submitted a complaint to the BBB and they still refused. I would never give them my business and would never recommend them to anyone. I should have known from previous encounters with them because this was not the first time they were rude. I've been hung up on the phone when attempting to place a order because I wasn't sure of a question. I'd forearm anyone take your business elsewhere!

John Paul Sarosi, Inc. Numismmatic News ad showed a 1941-47PDS Walking Liberty half dollar set, choice lustrous AU/BU for $420. I was shocked that all of these coins were cleaned with a grade condition of only fine. I returned the set on February 9th. I spend $18 plus cents returning this set and I insured it as I didn’t trust this company.I requested reimbursement of my postage cost since he did not send me the set that was advertised. Near the end of February I did received my refund credit, less his $18 for his postage cost sending the coins to me. I contacted my charge card company and explained what happened. They are working for me to recover the shortage of my refund.

I contacted this company to ask a couple of questions, since I'm not knowledgeable regarding old money. I can't believe how rude this person was on the phone. I would never sell anything to this company or recommend anyone contact them. I rate this company a zero

Called there to ask a question, was spoken to very rudely!! I will never do business with these people!!! They acted like I was bothering them well excuse me, really need to learn a little thing called customer service!!!! Told a friend about this and she said she was treated the same way. Their website says friendly, uh don't think so by any means!!!! Trust me, take your business elsewhere!!! I did.

Had 62 silver dollars and took them to jewelry store that has billboard to buy coins. Then took them to Sarosi's. Not only was offered $5 more per coin for what the girl called the ugly ones - but was offered even more for what she called the average and nicer ones. Home run hit for $525 more than the jewelry store offer. Kind of knew would be paid more at the coin store - but not that much more. She is fast too!

You see all those ads on TV and radio - We buy gold - but don't take the first offer. Was paid way more by Sarosi than jewelry store I went to first. Tell all my friends to go there - and instant check too.

Very pleased and surprised how fast they can sort through coins and 1. find the ones that are not silver and 2. find the ones they actually offer you more money for as they look nicer. Very very satisfied with selling accumulation.

I called to inquire about a purchase that hadn't been shipped. I was hung up on twice and then yelled at and accused of being a telemarketer. I explained that I was a customer and was yelled at some more. Then, I was passed on to his wife who justified his actions, told me that my purchase failed. This is a lie because there was plenty of money on my card. I told her to cancel it and she hung up on me. These people have no scruples. I've also read reviews that state that this company re-engraves, wizzes, cleans and dips their coins. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Sold off some coins years ago to them and very pleased with price (although wish had saved some as silver went up in the meantime). Found some old paper money in estate and went back. Literally shocked how much it was worth! Had no clue whatsoever. Honest and knowledgeable. Kept staring at the check and grinning.

Wow! They have the most antique jewelry have ever seen in one spot. The cameos are absolutely incredible - didnt know they deal in that too. Like looking at your grandmas jewelry box from the olden days.

Super great prices - even with the price of silver down! Always a pleasant experience. And very amusing if you happen to be in the store when they are busy on the phone. Just like watching all the action. Amazing!

In their store at same time as 2 different area antique dealers. They seemed more than comfortable dealing and Sarosi even gave them tips and pointers of what to look for when they search old houses for coins. Like they say - sell your coins where the dealers are selling them! They must know something. Was elated at prices they paid! Will tell all my friends to sell to Sarosi.

Just came back from coin show they run in Monroeville, PA. Great show - very pleasant dealers with a wide variety of items for sale. Too many dealers at other show in the area act like they are too important to talk with regular collectors, but not so at Sarosi's show. Everyone seems like they are glad to see you and glad to be at their show. Very nice and friendly atmosphere. Will be back at their coin shows next year for sure. Hoping to win that gold coin they give away every day. Picked up a few nice coins for sets building for the grandkids. Every dealer said hello as we walked through the show. You do not see that at other show.

Once again, very pleased and pleasantly surprised with prices received on coin collection. And they bought everything -not just the good stuff. They are my number one choice when friends ask me where to go with old coins and paper money.

Very professional and very knowledgeable about all coins. When you deal with them you feel comfortable that you are receiving the best price at current market value.

Been at coin shows and see as they walk the floor all the other dealers behind the tables looking up eagerly hoping they will stop at their table. Because even the dealers know they are REAL BUYERS, with good checks.

Customer for decades. Always treated very fair and with great respect. Truly enjoying doing business with the Sarosi's.

Great prices!! and very fast and efficient sorting your items. Could not be more pleased with service - will recommend to all my friends.

They have a coin shop open all week. Then they travel to shows and hotels on weekends. & they run the big CAMP coin show in Monroeville. Always busy but not too busy to talk to real customers whether you are interested in a $1.00 coin or a $1000.00 coin. IF you are just fishing for information or a time-waster am sure after all those years in business they can spot you a mile away. Very satisfied with coins purchased.
