We love it! We have three children and we can't beat the prices. My husband and I enjoy the feel of being in such a historical theater and the architecture of the building and the kids love the balcony seating. We have enjoyed every visit...so glad we found it!

I use to rate this place 5 stars until last night



ok ive been going to the Gem since i was 11 but last night was unexceptable, towards the end of the movie the reel goes out, and suddenly were watching a blank screen, and after about ten minutes its finally back on but not in the spot it cut off on, and we recieve no apology, no refund, which i wouldnt care for if the movie had started back from where it blanked out, not even a darn candy bar from the concession stand. where is the customer service, or should i say the employees manners, i know there werent that many ppl in there but even if it was one person, they still could have said something, Were they scared or what?



They could have just gave every one tickets for the next show it wouldve been cool, there were alot of people disappointed because one minute the guy in the movie is saying how much he loves the woman,then the movie goes out, then when it comes back on there already married, what the h3((-what was the point of seeing the movie if we dont see the whole thing.
