I have been a customer to Kwik Kar off and on in a lapse of about 2 yrs. I used Midas in Killeen off of Trimmier out of convenience sometimes due to the location or because Midas started introducing that low price. Well, I had an incident recently that left me unsattisfied. One of the two places had stripped the original plug for my oil pan and replaced it with an oversized one. It was brought to my attention by Kwik Kar becuase they don t change your oil if an oversized plug is in place for liablility issues. So, after going to Midas and being told that I had to pretty much bite the $$$ to replace the oil pan that SOMEONE had messed up (which is not cheap for a '10 F-150), Kwik Lube stepped up to the plate and while they didn t negate or admit that fact they were responsible, the manager very politely and timely called me back with a compromise. He was willing to pay for the new oil pan ($210) if I was willing to pay for the labor. I am absolutely thrilled that there are still people out there that will step up to the plate and make things right. I was given a ride to and from a shopping center near since it took about 4hrs to get it fixed. Could not be happier with the outstanding service and we will deft. be using just ONE place to change our oil from now on.. and it is NOT midas!!
