Covington made a HUGE mistake putting a guy named Jerry in charge! We have done business with them in the past with no problem. I called spoke to Jerry who told me to bring my vehicle in, knowing the Allison transmission was in a Suburban, but not Chevrolet programming, to be hooked up to the analyzer. So I drove 20 miles in limp mode, just to be told when I got there that they would not work on it! His excuse was they did not work on Chevy's, then I explained we just needed the codes downloaded and it was not running Chevrolet programming and he changed his story to, "We do not work on anything that small!"Having worked with them before I know this to be a lie. His grin showed he was just playing some kind of power game!



A few weeks earlier I had brought the TCM over to have codes downloaded, I took it straight back to the shop, as I have always done....this is usual practice for me with Allison transmissions for years in multiple locations through out the country! According to all their tech's this is comman practice for them & not an abnormal request.



I am floored that the only Allison dealer in town refuses Allison business at the whim of an individual! I will take my business anywhere but Covington!!!!! I recommend you do the same!
