Service and food have always been great! If we go Saturday or Sunday, I expect to wait!

I just read the bad words of the three previous reviews. Quite honestly I don't agree with any of them. My wife and I have breakfast there (Merchants Dr.) 5 days a week, Monday through Friday. We would go there Saturday and Sunday, however we don't like to wait. I believe the ones who bad mouthed IHOP were just looking for a free meal, which is the case most of the time when people complain so much. If you do decide to try it, ask for Ben, or Farrah. Ben is off on Thursdays. I highly recommend IHOP on Merchants Dr. Lee

we waited forever to be seated then I had to ask the manager why was everyone going b4 us. then it took forever to get our food. think they need some organization and help. be prepared for a long wait.

My family and I--a party of 6-- arrived about 7:20 pm to I Hop on Merchants road. It took a while to place our order, but we were in the restaurant one and a half hours before our food was delivered to the table. When we asked the waitress what the problem was, she said that the cooks did not speak or understand English and it was difficult to make them understand what the orders consisted of, and a couple of the orders were prepared wrong and had to be redone. She was not allowed to bring part of the order out without all of it, therefore some of the food was cool by the time it was served. We have eaten there several times in the mornings, and had excellent service, but since you evidently hire illegal immigrants ( most likely legal immigrants can speak English), we will not be eating there again. You might be wise to consider what happened to a girl in West Knoxville who was murdered at a Day's Inn by illegal immigrants.
