I have had my child enrolled with Learning Adventures for 2 years. I am a parent that feels no one can care for their child like they can. We are college educated parents and still require two incomes for our family, so we need part time child care. We only need 3 days a week, due to mine and my spouse's alternate off days of work. We are quite picky, to the point that we did back ground checks ourselves on the owners and their care givers. We contacted DCS and DHS as well. I keep in constant contact with Rachel, Frank, Carrie, and the teachers. I spend approximately an hour at the facility each time I drop my child off. I interact with all the caregivers and children. I see what takes place and help out where and when I can. My education is in behavioral psychology and I see the constant reinforcement given from Rachel to the caregivers on how to positively interact with the children and redirect problematic behavior. The center even provided required training to its caregivers and free to the patents a positive parenting workshop. Mistakes happen, as long as they are corrected, don't continue, and aren't blatantly intentional I feel it is only human and acceptable. I know that once there was a child in with my child that was having an hard time with biting. I personally observed it several times and the child had bit my child in one instance. That child was temporarily dismissed and has returned once the patents had resolved the biting. I am sorry to be long winded, but hope this is helpful to anyone out there looking for good childcare.

This is not a daycare I would entrust my children with ever again. Our son came home hurt and/or sick almost on a weekly basis. The owners, Rachel and Frank, are never on the same page and often times conflict what one another tells parents about their child's well being and general care.
