A very creepy experience-



Made an appointment to have a check-up before the end of the year. Completed the paperwork, excluding my Social Security Number. I had an Insurance ID Card with a phone# for provider's to verify coverage. Also provided my Driver's License. I was a health insurance agent and know a SS# is not required for providers. Because of Cyber Crime and liability most professional offices are now trying NOT to collect this type of data. I was told by the assistant at the desk, after she went in back, that I would have to wait 2 weeks( next year) to receive service because they needed to write my insurance co. to verify coverage.



I was also REQUIRED to sign a doc that assigned all my AND MY DEPENDENT"S insurance benefits to Dr.(Space Left Blank). They also had a statement in their ppwk. that stated that insurance claims were my problem and they were only doing me a favor by trying to collect.



Also, I was asked to sign a HIPPA 1996(Out of date) agreement that I have received a copy of their privacy policies. The only policy I was provided referred to Health info and NOT my Social Security # or other private info they tried to collect about my work and my wife's work. Since they are not claiming to keep this info private, are they selling it for extra profit? When I asked the asst. about it and my other privacy questions she became very nervous and quickly responded, "Very well, have a Merry Christmas" She said this 3 or 4 times and refused to answer my question or respond in any other way. Seems all they wanted was my Personally Identifiable Information. Explains why the place was empty of customers and all the other complaints about haphazard service.

Staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. Will say demeaning things about you the entire time you are there even though they have no room to be talking. Anyways, in addition to that the dentist spent 2 minutes looking at my teeth and told me I had 6 cavities. Which I know is BS I went back to my regular dentist and they told me I had zero two weeks later.

Where to start. Multiple patient forms stacked on top of each other whe asked to fill out. Identify theft waiting to happen. Front desk staff very rude and lazy. They do not research your insurance they will just bill you. The front desk also openly talks about patients in front of waiting room. This dentist is not worth the risk!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! I had a wonderful experience at this office. The staff was so friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I was seen in a timely manner and as someone who doesn't like going to the dentist, I was very nervous. But Dr. Carmichael was SO nice and very thorough and answered all my questions. I did need fillings and he actually was able to pull my xrays up on the computer and show me exactly what he was talking about. I would recommend this office to anyone seeking a friendly dental office.

Stay away from this place. The staff are grumpy and don't seem to even like each other. Dr. Carmichael was late so I had to wait for a good while on him. Then he tried to sell me a bunch of dental work that I did not need. Went to apple orthodontics and they said I didn't even need half of what he wanted to do. The dental assistant were more interested in their gossiping than my comfort. The dentist was only interested in my money and his blond haired little assistant
