Our long-haired cat was very matted so we took her to the House of Wags. They did a wonderful job. I highly recommend their services.

These girls are amazing. They have taken some of the most matted, petrified and abused animals you can imagine and transformed them into beautiful, loving pets. They are truly guardian angels to all living critters.

I have known Chris I for many, many years so I was delighted when I heard she was opening her own grooming shop with her business partner. I can verify that she is probably the most compassionate person I have ever personally known. She was always bringing injured or lost birds and animals to her home to care for even as a young girl, and later taking them to her vet to have them taken care of at her own expense. She is also just as compassionate to people who are in need, and has had her beautiful and gentle Irish Wolfhound Medbh (pronounced) Maeve. (I know because I helped her come up with a name) trained as a therapy dog and shares all the love of this gentle giant of a dog with the old , sick and lonely in nursing homes. Her partner Chris is a perfect match for her.She also rescues animals, including horses . I wish them both the best of luck.> They deserve it.

My pets were clients of these devoted groomers for the past 20 + years and although I no longer live in the area, I do keep in touch and am thrilled at the success their business is having. Their kind of success comes only from a lifetime of loving animals, all animals.

In addition to their care and concern for their cat and dog clients, they are devoted pet owners themselves, always opening their hearts to one more animal that needs love, attention or medical care. Over the years they have individually rescued countless animals including dogs, cats, horses, birds and more, and sought medical care, spaying and neutering of strays at their own expense before either making them a part of their own family or finding them a loving home and a second chance at life. Add to that the fact that they both have therapy dogs which require a large investment in love, patience, and training, an investment they were willing to make so that their dogs can play a part in brightening the day of someone sick or less fortunate.

And their love of animals goes far beyond domestic animals. The groomers at WAGS are advocates for wildlife as well, always ready to transport an injured wildling to the vet, create habitat for wildlife on their own property, take part in bird counts and contribute to wildlife organizations.

All of these reasons and too many more to mention are why, when it comes to groomers, your search can stop at “WAGS”.

I do not understand how people can post and repost something written about someone without first finding out if it is the truth. The groomers at The House Of Wags are two of the most caring people I know. Not only do they care for their own animals and their clients animals but many, many strays that they have cared for and taken in over the years paying for their vet bills with their own money. Rescue horses, a dog that was thrown from a moving vehicle with many broken bones, a dog that was shot, countless cats and dogs that were abandoned. I promise you, you will never meet two more caring people. They have dedicated their lives to the care of people and animals and they are treated so poorly because someone with a personal grudge wanted to start a hateful, hurtful lie. How can these types of things happen and no one be held accountable.

This is the place you can trust with your precious family members. Chris S. has cared for and groomed all of my dogs for over 20 years. Some of my boys required frequent grooming with LOTS of Long Hair. I have had big dogs and tiny ones and they all love her. Once Chris is done doing her majic, they look fabulous! She and her partner Chris I. are compassionate, caring animal lovers and above all, excellent groomers. They have many clients who are willing to drive quite a distance to bring their pets to them. I recently moved 30 miles away but will still drive to this shop every month (or more often) to have my boys groomed by Chris. I know how important it is to feel safe leaving your pets with someone. You will love them and your pets will too!
