WebsiteFounded in 1978, Alternative Living for the Aging is engaged in providing safe, affordable housing alternatives for low-income older people. Located in West Hollywood, Calif., it is a non-profit agency that organizes various housing programs for the well-being and security of seniors. The community also offers a free housemate matching program that facilitates in matching seniors with other seniors, mid-age, and younger people above 18 in their own homes, apartments and condos.
