Great experience!!

I adopted a dog who had been hit by a car and wouldn't put any weight on a rear leg. I brought him to Preston Animal hospital and after X-rays was told he a dislocated hip and it had been that way for quite awhile. All options were explained to me and I chose to have FHO surgery. It was very successful and my dog was using that leg quicker than expected. Today, a year later, we are hiking 2 miles a day and he never slows down. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Kline and her staff!!!

I took my lab in for a productive cough. The vet that day said they would need to run some tests and it may be a little costly, which we agreed to no matter what it cost. Blood work and other tests were done and diagnosed my lab with kennel cough, even though he had been vaccinated for. she put him on antibiotics and sent him home. Two weeks later we had to rush him to a 24 hour animal hospital where they said he needed emergency surgery which would cost $5,000. We agree to have the surgery but he died during surgery. The animal hospital said a simple x-ray would two weeks earlier would have shown the pleural infection and he would have survived. They are too eager to just prescribe antibiotics and hope it works.

We are so angry that a simple x-ray was not taken, and this mistake cost our dog his life, and I lost my best friend. Needless to say, we will never go back to this place.

Preston Animal Hospital, you would think by the name they worked with animals? I'am not sure if, that is so. We took a 2 year old Lab- Pit, to have his nail's clipped today. They had kitten's by the front door, for adoption. Someting our dog's not around alot. Then the staff put's us in a very small room to wait for the Vet. While waiting another cat walks down the hall loose. Not somthing our dog is around. The lady vet there then comes in and says thighten muzzel! Then swings around another leach to put on a dog, who already has a leach. The vet showed no kindness toward dog and the dog felt this. Vet seemed scared and told us, she wouldn't do the dog's nail's and showed us the door to leave. Not nice about the whole thing! I think this place would be good for kittens or puppies.
