It deserves NEGATIVE rating.
I contacted Anthony Santamassino to help me update my Resume and Cover Letter.
According to his web site: “Interview sessions may be conducted in the office or over the phone”.
Mr. Santamassino suggested “in the office” interview; probably because there was no internet in his office, and he was not set up to accept credit cards.
First 1 hr initial session we had a nice chat for which I paid $80, and left drafts of my Resume and Cover Letter to work on.
Second session produced nothing besides the charge of $75. Anthony told me a few job interview tips that might impress a recent college graduate, but not someone with 20 years of continuously progressing professional career, and who already read them all over the web free of charge.
Third session, for another $75, Mr. Santamassino finally produced a poorly formatted resume (which I accepted as I didn’t want to spend any more time on it), but no Cover Letter.
Since I found our one-on-one sessions neither productive nor necessary, I suggested continuing on via internet/telephone. And guess what?
That was last time I heard from him – no response to numerous emails or phone calls, and no receipt for the money I've paid.
About 2 weeks ago I filed a complaint with local BBB, but nothing so far.
