I drive almost four hours to have my car serviced here. They let me know (honestly) when I need new tires and always ask me before something is done that I didn't request. I have used Aids for several years and never have I been disappointed. I trust them to give me good service and be upfront with me. Aid Tire is a treasure in Lynchburg and the people who work there are great! (Woody even lets me do the crossword in the newspaper while I wait! :) )

Great service and advice on tires and general auto/truck maintenance.

i.e., A local favorite, or highly recommended becauseYou must watch them on what they charge you for parts!! They charged me $272 for a remanufactured alternator that I could have bought new, across the street, online and from the Ford dealer for much less. In fact, the most expensive NEW part for the make and model of auto I own was $230. Premium remanufactired alternators topped out at about $170 with most being in the $130 range. So, they ripped us off on parts cost! And, since it was my college age daughter who took the car in for the repair, she felt as though they took advantage of her. When I addressed it, they hemmed and hawed knowing they had been caught but refused to do anything.

In April of 2011 my wife and I were in Lynchburg for our son who was there as part of Liberty University hockey recruitment camp. While there one of my rear tires went wonky and needed to be replaced so I decided to replace both rear tires. Not knowing anyone or any thing about Lynchburg we had no idea where to go and just kind of stumbled into Aid Tire. They took us right in on a Saturday morning and within an hour we were on our way. I couldn't help but notice the improvement in the ride and was quite happy with both the work and the price that they charged me for the work. It wasn't until we arrived back home in Ontario Canada that I noticed that not only did they replace the tires on the rear but they also replaced several of my chrome lug nuts that had lost the chrome on both rear and front tires, and they did so without asking and at no charge. This is a company that goes the extra mile and I would recommend them to anyone who is in the Lynchburg Va. area. Thank you for doing tha

I have been a customer of AID Tire for several years & throughout that time i have been nothing but satisfied with the nice & prompt service. When I first came across AID Tire I was delighted to find out that they not only do tires, but also most everything on the repair side of things too!
