Loved everything about my experience with my weight loss surgery. The Dr and his staff were very polite and explained everything with understandable words and didn't make you feel like an idiot.. After surgery I felt like s*%t and Dr was very understanding.. Definetly will recommend him to anyone who is looking to get the gastric bypass done.. Congrats and gud luck on this journey you are about to embark..

Dr. Nguyen gave me my life back! When you first meet him, he may seem like he doesn't have bed side skills, but I can tell you, he has a heart of gold! Just being 100% honest! He tells you like it is, doesn't sugarcoat anything and gets down to business. At the same time, when you NEED him, he is there, listening and concerned! He performed RNY gastric bypass surgery on me on June 6, 2012. I would do it again, and have absolutely no regrets! I wish I could have done my surgery in Manteca, but because I started in Pleasanton as his other office, I finished there as well and it ended up being a wonderful experience (just Manteca is home). His staff, they are awesome too! Brenda who works the front desk, went above and beyond for my insurance issues and even listened to me cry about my frustrations prior to surgery! Veronica who works the back office, she is an absolute sweetheart with a heart of gold as well! Out of 5 stars, Dr. Dat Nguyen and his staff get 5+
