A few years ago, I took my toy, black poodle to be groomed. An elderly lady groomed her at that time. She put a beautiful, large red bow on top of Chloe's head. I noticed Chloe would not let me touch her head. After several days, I took the bow off Chloe's head and to my shock and horror, she had a red, large bald spot on top of her head. The hair was completely gone and the skin was very red. I took her to her vet to see if he could tell me what the groomer did to her, but he was shocked and didn't know. To this day, I do not know what the groomer did to Chloe. The hair has never grown back. Chloe has a large bald spot on the top of her head. I never confronted the lady, to my awful regret, but I feel I owe Chloe this much to report what happened to her. I could not prove that the groomer did it because she put the large red bow on top of Chloe's head and I did not discover the wound until I took the bow off after several days.



Needless to say, I never took Chloe back to La Met Poodle grooming and I have always regreted that I never confronted this elderly groomer for Chloe's sake. My dog was abused and badly hurt by this groomer. I can only hope that God will punish her for what she did to Chloe.
