I brought 4 items back in December, 2 were designer items Marc Jacobs vintage dress and a 139 DEC winter coat and 2 regular items another winter coat and pants.
I dropped the 4 items off on 12/21/18 at the 19975 NW 2ND Ave, BAY3 Miami, FL 33169 location.
I arrived a week later to pick up the 4 items as instructed by the employee, who I might add was incredibly rude and only 2 of them were there. She said supposedly all 4 had been sent (they outsource), but only two arrived and she was "trying" to locate the items. Both missing items were the designer pieces.
The woman advised that the pieces would be there by 12/27/18 in the afternoon, I had a flight back to NY on the 29th. I went at 3pm and the items were still not located, the woman told me to come back at 5pm, when I returned she said she had not been able to get a reply from anyone despite her multiple attempts to contact the location in which the items were dry cleaned, this while making me feel as it were my fault they lost the items. I told her I would wait, while I was there she spoke to a woman with the last name McCray as it's what displayed on her phone, she said the items were still not located.
My items were never found, the dress was a priceless gift. My main concern was with the lost coat as I had to return to New York without it, winter has been brutal and you can imagine how fun it was to be without a proper winter coat in 20 degree weather. I only had the one coat as it was an item that I had invested in and did not have a need to have more then one, these people literally mocked me for having only one coat.
I finally spoke with Karen McCray, I believe she is the owner. She did nothing, but give me the run around for weeks. On one of our conversations after she told me that an employee had taken the items at one location and never brought them to the next (they supposedly had it on tape). She actually asked me why I would bring a coat to Miami... are you kidding me? she was condescending and completely insulting. She also told me she would not be responsible for the items and pay only a what stated on the receipt (fair enough), I had never dry cleaned before, so unfortunately I was unaware of all the logistics behind higher priced items, but I've learned my lesson... anyhow the amount they would pay was 10 times the cleaning service $150 for the coat and should have been $120 for the dress, but she decided she would only give me $50 for the dress.
These people are awful and unkind. Ironically they actually had a Christian channel playing in their place of business.
In the end the employee blamed for the loss, called me and said he would pay me the $200 and to please not contact Karen for the refund as he would have to pay it. He did so and I greatly appreciate it.
NEVER IN MY LIFE HAS CUSTOMER SERVICE BEEN HANDLED SO POORLY. DO NOT TAKE ANY ITEMS TO THIS PLACE OR ANY OF THEIR FACILITIES, SPECIALLY IF DTHEY ARE OF VALUE, SENTIMENTAL OR MONETARY.
