I sent a letter to make a payment arrangement and my letter was ignored and my account garnished. I left messages with no answer. Very unprofessional.

Not to be trusted! Never settle with them, it best to try to go to the person you actually owe and work out a settlement. If you pay by check, the will use that information to gain access to your account and garnish your money in that account.
