Provided by YP.comI started by taking an old pair of Tatami (Birkenstock) shoes in for repair. Peter did such an excellent job, I brought in a bag whose strap was broken and another pair of shoes no longer in production. Again, over the top quality service and workmanship. I just brought in another two pair and two pair of Birkenstock sandals, and my neighbor's boots that needed new heels and heel wrapping. The quality of the workmanship there is excellent. Some of my shoes needed new soles, others had to be rebuilt. All are no longer made. I was so happy to get them properly fixed at a fraction of the cost of replacement.

This place is so great. I needed new shoes and I also needed a pair of shoes to be repaired so i went to Naperville Shoes. The owner (assuming that he is the owner) is a really nice old man named Tom. They have a special thing called combos that allows you to buy a pair of shoes and get free repairs on anything- shoes, luggage, ect. Anyway, the total price for the brand new pair of Allen Edmonds for my husband and the repair on my favorite high heels (I got new heels) came out to be $50 opposed to $35 estimate cost from a shoe repair store in a mall near me! Overall a fantastic store.

Provided by YP.comI was incredibly disappointed by the workmanship at Naperville Shoes Luggage Tailoring & Repairs.
I brought in a 60 year old Native Indian Bracelet that needed some repairs. What I got back was a broken and worthless item.
When I went in to show him the piece originally I felt very comfortable. He even suggested hand sewing to insure that there was no further damage to the piece. Instead he machined sewed the piece which broke and damaged the beadwork. When I received the piece beads were falling off.
Why he did not immediately stop sewing when he saw that beads were coming off I can't understand.
When I asked him about the shoddy workmanship he had very little concern for my frustration over the destruction of my piece. If he was sure how to work with a vintage piece then he should have told me that the minute I showed him the item.
I see there are some very happy customers, but I am not one of them.
The poor workmanship, bad attitude, and destruction of my heirloom insure that I will never return to Naperville Shoes Luggage Tailoring & Repairs.
