I don't usually write reviews. Last week, my car died the day before one of my good friends from home (CO) died. Since my car died in a place where it's likely the city will come tow it, I sold it via junkcars.com quickly and was assigned this company as the folks to come pick it up. I couldn't leave the car on the road while I went back to CO for my friend's funeral.

Pull-A-Part requires that you be available all day from 8 - 5 to be ready to come meet them if they call. You're also required to be there personally. I'm not able to do that with my job, so we haven't been able to work out a time to pick it up. I am now faced with the decision to either cancel my trip to CO for my friend's funeral to take care of my car, or to attend it, and risk my car being towed by the city, which I can't afford. Kevin, my representative at Pull-A-Part, knew this situation and refused to help. I have two hours left before I leave for CO, and it looks like they're again not going show up in time. I'm just praying my car's still there when I get back.

I love to recommend business that put their people before their money (I know many like this!) but it seems this is not the case with this company.

Be warned! This place will re-nig in a heart beat! I worked out a deal for 55 cars to be purchased thru the car buyer at this location, price done, I was waiting on paperwork only for 2 cars. I call the Buyer rep, the phone is disconnected, I e-mail the rep, e-mail bounced. Called corp office call center, they gave me the email and phone of the car buyer that is not good, called call center back, the next day, now states the Car Buyer was let go, no one has a clue who will buy these now, I left my info NO ONE ever called me back, Came to the store, Car Buyer is off for the day, another guy says they laid off the outside buyer, but no one has a clue who can help me, store manager is in Knoxville! NO ONE HAS A CLUE HERE, no one at all! The only person who did is no longer there. Ive been working with him for 2 weeks now nothing, Soooo, Thank god the car buyer still had my number and contacted me letting me know he now works for there competition , Music City Pick A Part, all worked out now & sold, what a cluster FU%&!! Never again Pull A Part, I seriously think most of these other reviews are from employees, BTW read the Yellow page reviews on this place they are way more accurate. The guy that helped me while the scale was was off told me this is such a typical thing, & that they Pull A Part just closed 3 locations also

There facility has drastically changed since new management has arrived. I think this new management is gonna cost this Nashville location to close down most employees lack people skills. There rude and unprofessional. I've done business with that company for several years was satisfied with company until new management arrived. I now have to do business else where the prices are different so there for it cost me alot of money. But now I have new contacts and I'm doing just fine and I feel the new management cost me businesses so there for I would like to have yours. If you have a junk vechile to sell feel free to contact me 615-582-8203 ask for James. When you contact me you will reach a human not a answering machine and you will receive fast friendly service

The phone service sucks!!!! I just wanted to call to get a price check on an alternator and the damned automated feature kept hanging up on me. They will most definitely NOT get my business if I can't even get one simple question answered.

This place has really gone dow...

This place has really gone downhill since opening. The prices have gotten to the point where it isn't worth the drive and certainly not worth having to pull the parts yourself. You could probably go to a traditional salvage yard where they pull the parts for you and come out better when you consider what your time is worth. I have probably bought my last part from there. Be sure and tell your friends before they find out the hard way.

PULL A PART OF NASHVILLE: IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A PERSON ON THE PHONE

I purchased 2 used doors for my 98 Volkswagen Jetta from Pull A Part of Nashville on March 6, 2010. The doors wouldn't work because my car had electric features and these did not. I'm a girl.... I didn't know this would cause a compatibility issue... I did well to find the parts by myself. I did purchase the warranty so I would be able to return them, however, I have spent the past 6 weeks trying to get a live person or an alternate phone number for this company, all to no avail.

If they are an upstanding company that followed through with what they say their policies are, why can you not reach a person by phone. I know that while I was there spending my money (I am disabled and on a limited income) I saw plenty of employees on working telephones. Why then, do they intentionally make it LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE to speak to an employee directly about issues or anything else for that matter? This is the 21st century and while I understand that they may need to filter calls by INCLUDING an automated system for customers that can handle their business in this manner, It is also necessary to allow customers or even potential customers to speak to a representative in the even that the automated system is not equipped to handle their inquiry.

I cannot even begin to express how terribly disappointed I am with the inconvenient, unprofessional, and unsatisfactory way this "local" company runs their business, specifically the customer service end of things. Had I know that I would run in to this issue prior to my purchase I would most certainly have spent my money elsewhere.

If anyone has an alternate number (other than 615-350-6066) for Pull A Part of Nashville, please contact me at [email protected] at your earliest convenience.

Thank you and please be advised that when doing business with this company, you are doing so AT YOUR OWN RISK. I feel that once they have your money, they can't be bothered in making sure that you are happy.
