A1 Svc replace all the plumbing in my house for almost $3k. Everything seemed fine until a leak busted out a few months later. I called them back as the work was still under warranty. Mike (the owner) at first stated the work was no longer under warranty and I had to show them the original receipt to prove that it was.

The plumber proceeded to tear down part of the wall to expose the plumbing in order to repair the leak. After splicing the pipe and allowing another gallon or so of water to pour out behind the wall, he managed to repair one of the two leaks. After repairing the second leak he explained how the sheet rock work was not covered and for me to get in contact with Mike about that.

I called Mike back up and asked about the sheetrock replacement. He went on to state that it was not part of the warranty and that he would not have it replaced. He acknowledged that it would cost me $75-$100 to use one of his guys (my cost not his).

The sheet rock was damaged due to the leak caused by the work they did and the materials they used. I expressed to the owner that it is better to get a few referrals and be considered for future work than to leave a client with a hole in the wall in order to save $75. Mike arrogantly responded with a retort as if loosing one or two customers would not affect him.

He also stated that he's responsible for the plumbing and not the drywall but when they installed the new plumbing, they replaced all the drywall. It was part of the scope of the work. Now that this is a warranty repair, the drywall is no concern of his and decides to leave the hole in the wall just to save a few dollars.

I expressed to the owner that given he would not replace the drywall they cut open to expose the plumbing, I would never consider A1 Plumbing for any future work and that I would never recommend them to anyone. His response was one of someone who couldn't care less.

I had these guys re-pipe my house for over $3000 and it has been a nightmare for a month now. They did not install the water fixture correctly which created a slow leak in the kitchen behind the cabinets for over a week. They admitted it was their mistake. They they sent a company to put in 6 fans and 2 dehumidifiers which blew dust all over my house. I now have no kitchen floor because of the water damage and there are still leaks from what they said they know how to install, water line to the refirig, dish washer and reverse osmosis water system... ALL STILL LEAK after being out here to fix it 4-5 times including twice that took all day.

RUN FROM THIS COMPANY DO NOT USE.

I HAVE PICTURES BUT CAN NOT POST THEM.

Buyer Beware!! Last Thurs I called on A1 plumbing to repair a leak in our Townhouse Kitchen faucet. Was quoted $80 hour on the phone. Repairman repaired the leak but when he put the faucet back together the control handle failed to stay up the "hot " position. He told us to call Moen and request the part, proceeded to give me a bill for $169.00 for 1 hours work. I asked why so high and he said thats what they charge for a cartridge repair, not what I was told over the phone by Gina. I called A1 later on and spoke to a Chad who agreed that his repairman should have fixed the handle issue, keep in mind we just gave them $169.00. Chad said he or Gina would call us the next morning to schedule a plumber to go out to us to repair the problem. WELL THEY NEVER CALLED ME BACK!! It's amazing and sad how a company like A1 plumbing can stay in business with service like what we experienced. If you need a plumber be sure NOT to call A1 plumbing out of Apopka.

I had a great experience with these guys. They are very efficient and quick to finish whatever they are doing. I like that they are not that hard to talk to.

We recently had to have a tota...

We recently had to have a total re-pipe done on our home.I had a total of 6 estimates done.Michael at A1 was number 5 and was not the cheapest (he was 2nd),but for some reason I really liked him.Unlike some of the other companies,he didn't try and sell me unwanted products. He went through the entire house inside and out and thoroughly explained exactly what I needed. After we informed them that we had decided to go with them, they made the appointment for the very next day.

I was told they would be there at 9:00 am and they arrived at 8:30..I expected one guy in a truck.Instead I got a whole three man crew in two fully equipped vans. They already knew exactly what to do and went at it..They laid down drop cloths to walk on through my entire house even after I told them they didn't half to due to the fact the carpet is getting replaced. To make a long story short by 4:30 that afternoon the job was done..They even repaired a couple of things that they didn't half to at no charge to me..The only problem that came up was a leak in a facet that wasn't even there fault, but they ordered the part and it is due to be repaired this Saturday.

Would I use A1 Service Plumbing again..Without a doubt...Michael,Chad and the rest of the crew were great..I found a company we can trust and when the job was done,we got the warranty to go along with it...
