TOTAL SCAM!!!!! PAID FOR SERVICES THAT WERE NEVER PROVIDED!! Cannot even count the number of messages I've left for Richard Travelsteed of course with NOT one returned call!! Stay Clear of Blue Eye Investigations unless you want to get RIPPED OFF!! Can't imagine how he is still in business???!!!

BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS!!! THIS IS A RIP-OFF! Also took money with NO return of information and then became impossible to contact. DO NOT USE!!!

Richard Travelstead also ripped me off for $1500. he has 2 unanswered complaints with the BBB (Which he is NOT a member of). He currently has 2 civil cases pending against him.

Richard is not just unethical, he's a straight up thief! I stupidly wrote him a check for some basic info and never heard from them again. Blue Eye Investigations is not a business it's a blatant fraudulent scam.

Blue Eye Investigations in my experience is a very unprofessional and shady operation. I live out of town and paid Richard one thousand dollars for his services and the only thing I received in return was one surveillance photo, texted to me, of the wrong person. When I asked for documentation of his services, repeatedly, he ignored my calls and emails for months. I don't believe he actually did the work that I paid him for as he can provide no proof or documentation. I would recommend finding another professional investigator should you need one. Richard is a liar and a cheat, and has failed to respond to complaints about him with the Better Business Bureau. I'm sure there are many legitimate options, but Blue Eye isn't. In my opinion.

Mr. Travelstead has done so much to help me which has changed my life. I had a horrible situation with an unidentified/unknown man who was stalking, harrassing and threatening my life via phone calls, letters etc. I had been working with the police for nearly two years to try and figure out who this man was and get him to stop. Once Mr. Travelstead was brought into the picture the man harrassing me was found and brought to justice within the week thanks to his investigative work and cooperation with the police and assertiveness to get the ball rolling and quickly. If it weren't for Mr. Travelstead, I am not sure when or if this situation would have been resolved or worse, how far this man would have taken his threats on my life. Most appreciatively, Mr. Travelstead stayed in contact with me every day until this case was settled and I was never left hanging and wondering what was going on with the case, which was truly peace of mind.



Mr. Travelstead is an extremely kind, intuative, professional and intelligent man. I can't thank him enough for all he has done to help me get my life back! I would definitely use his services again and recommend him to others.
