TCC in VIRGINIA BEACH has one ...

TCC in VIRGINIA BEACH has one of the worst financial aid departments ever and that says a lot because I have attended a couple other schools. I have been through so much with this school and have been set back tremendously because of their financial aid dept. If you call them to get information, they won't have the information you're looking for or they'll only give you a partial answer and you end up calling back and speaking to someone else only to find out there's more you have to do.

They dropped me from my classes because they only took out enough money for one course from my bank account after I signed up for a payment plan. They never let me know anything, I just found out when I logged into Blackboard and didn't see the class anymore. I had already bought and starting reading the books for the courses. The only reason I ended up signing up for a payment plan is because they never disbursed the loan I requested and I was running out of time to wait on it before it's too late. Later, when I emailed them asking about why I never received the loan, they basically said they're only processing requests for loans submitted the month before I submitted mine but they never sent me anything in the mail or informed me whatsoever that there was a specific date I had to request it by. I requested my loan weeks before school even started so I think their whole system is just ridiculous to begin with. DON'T EVER GO TO THIS SCHOOL. YOU'LL BE BETTER OFF AT ANY OTHER COMMUNITY COLLEGE BUT THIS ONE.
